This chart helps you measure tops, jumpsuits, and dresses correctly and choose the right size to ensure your new outfit fits perfectly. Especially with figure-hugging cuts or flowing dresses, precise measuring makes the difference between "fits somehow" and "fits really well."

How to measure correctly

For a reliable result, you only need a measuring tape. It’s best to measure in front of a mirror while wearing light clothing or measure directly on your body.

1) Bust

• Measure at the fullest part of the bust.
• The measuring tape should run straight and not dig in.
• Tip: Breathe normally – don’t hold your breath.

2) Waist

• Measure at the narrowest part of the waist (usually above the navel).
• If unsure: Lean slightly to the side – where a fold forms is usually the waist.

3) Hips

• Measure at the widest part over the buttocks and hip bones.
• Make sure the measuring tape doesn’t slip up at the back.

4) Length (for dresses & jumpsuits)

• Depending on the chart, e.g., dress length or inseam length is indicated.
• Measure from the shoulder (highest point) down to the desired length.

Alternative: Measure on a suitable garment

If you already have a dress/top that fits you perfectly:

1. Lay it flat on a level surface.
2. Smooth the fabric without stretching.
3. Measure width & length and compare the values with the chart.

This is often the most reliable method because it directly considers the garment’s cut.

• Please check measurements carefully: Sizes can vary depending on cut/model.
• Measurement tolerance: There can be a difference of 0.5–1" (approx. 1.3–2.5 cm) due to manual measuring.
• Color note: Colors may vary slightly depending on monitor and lighting settings.
• Conversion: 1" = 2.54 cm

Size tip (very helpful)

• If you are between two sizes:
  • For more freedom of movement → choose the larger size.
  • For tight/figure-hugging → choose the smaller size (if stretch is available).

Extra tip: For jumpsuits, it’s better to allow a bit more room since bust/waist/hips all need to fit simultaneously.
